Our responsibilities cover five key areas of municipal services:

• Education planning
• Education monitoring
• Social planning with a focus on poverty prevention and poverty monitoring
• Migration and integration of refugees
• Participation for people with disabilities

Together with other planning departments, we develop integrated, data-based, and socially oriented planning that aims to promote equal opportunities and social participation for all citizens of Mainz. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, strategic management, and close cooperation with relevant authorities, service providers, and networks, we are creating a reliable basis for the development of sustainable measures and services in education, social affairs, and integration.
