The department covers a wide range of environmental law topics in the areas of soil, water, pollution control, species protection, and waste. In addition, the department is largely responsible for enforcement tasks for the entire Parks and Environment Department. As a specialist authority, we make a significant contribution to the development of the city as a whole and are the point of contact for both citizens and other authorities. We work as a team with a high degree of personal responsibility to carry out our varied tasks.
