It provides information on waste prevention and proper sorting—for example, at events—through flyers, the “Müllmagazin” (Waste Magazine), and the KAW podcast. The Mainz Environmental Store and the wide range of waste education programs, including the Environmental Education Center in Mainz-Weisenau, are also part of its responsibilities.
